Under the Same Sky/ Dr Haroon Rashid

Some distances teach us
how close a memory can stay.
Some endings open windows,
some silences make room for light.
And one day,
without asking when,
the heart begins to smile again.
The sky feels wider,
the air feels softer,
and life no longer seems
like something to endure.
We carry what was beautiful,
leave behind what was heavy,
and keep walking
with gratitude for both.
Because sometimes healing
is simply this:
to remember,
to smile,
and still choose life.
