Chameleons Cannot Borrow the Sun By Dr Haroon Rashid

Some people enter your life only to study your rise.
They count your steps, but never carry your wounds.
They desire your light, but not your sleepless nights.
They want your name, but not the pain that formed it.
Give them one drop of your struggle, and they would break.
For some lives are not gifted, they are survived.
Some smiles are not beauty, they are battles won.
No soul ever rises by poisoning another soul.
Chameleons change colours because they have none of their own.
They arrive as friends, lovers, and well-wishers.
But behind the mask, they carry envy like a hidden wound.
They try to bury you, yet become the soil of your becoming.
The Almighty turns even betrayal into awakening.
Some people are not blessings, they are lessons.
They become the storm that teaches your roots faith.
They become the darkness that introduces you to your light.
So let them watch, whisper, compare, and burn.
The sun does not answer every shadow.
The silent know everything, but choose dignity.
No one can steal a destiny the Almighty never wrote for them.
Chameleons may change colours, but cannot become the sky.
And those born to rise will rise again.
