and the wind carries them as an invitation over the thirsty earth,
a wedding begins—voiceless, yet full of feeling,
an ancient promise, as old as creation itself.
Drops fall like silver rings
upon the dust-covered hands of the soil,
and the earth receives them with deep longing,
like a bride awaiting a distant love.
The sky bends low, the earth rises,
and in between they meet without words.
In every drop, a new vow is born,
a bond that can never be undone.
Flowers open their eyes as witnesses,
rivers sing like a wedding choir,
and the world breathes more gently
beneath the damp veil of love.
When the rain gets married,
nothing remains dry
not the earth,
nor the heart.
