The Silent City / Manik Chakraborty
In the heart of the silent city,
I stand alone today;
I search for my own kin,

Yet find no trace of them.
So I wander aimlessly,
Like a nomad in the wild,
With a thirsting, famished gaze,
Traversing a desert land.
Across the pallid sky
Lies the darkness of death;
Deep within my breast,
Echoes only a cry of despair
