We pay no attention
To the vibrations
Of our hearts and to the
Mirrors of our inner vision
And we leave them
To the dust to the sand
And wind and we wish
To ascend to the luminous
Peak of longing and love
And we do not know
Where when and how
That we are made a mistake
In all of this because of
The mirrors of our insight
Have been stained
By foolish chatter
With a substance
Like an asphalt thus
We can not see
What the future
Holds for us and
We surrender our
Souls and minds
To the shifting of
Sand wind
And dust
