The Tartarian Spring/Sheikh Moniruzzaman Shawon

Love with its tardy gait
In a motion that suspends time
Slowly spreads like venom or
Maybe ambrosia
In every atom of the forbidden fruit
While the effulgent halo
Extinguishes leisurely
In Gahenna’s spring.
Do you desire such love?
Then feel humdrum domesticity’s
Fatal embrace and
Dive deep in the fata morgana
Of human bondage.
Let the wild war drum beat,
Hoist the standard-
Garden the forbidden fruit,
Copulate sine intermission
To procreate innumeris humans and humanoids
And in the mundane Amphitheatre
Compose a panegyric of the Divine.
Nirvana – self emancipation?
Is it not a mere desire
To unchain, unstrap, strip-
A bizarre devotion of the lingerie
That shrouds our beauty and ugliness,
Pleasure and pain?
Enchained and shackled that you are
Still gaze upwards, at the heaven.
Do the pitiful tears of your blind eyes
Still feel His presence ?
If such love is desired
Then bid adieu to the Garden of Eden
And join the rank of the fallen
In primordial Adam ‘s Tartarus
And don’t ever look back or pine
For the lost Paradise.
Birth, decay, demise,
maladies and mourning,
The monomania of the mundane-
They are the firewood of the inferno of hell,
the funeral pyre that immolates the tender heart
A macabre narration of the horrors
And pains of death .
Those who transfix life in a limbo
Are they the coins of Charon?
The two banks of the Styx
Are they the conflicting symbiosis
Of humdrum domesticity and freedom?
But where is the orgasmic contenment of the soul ?
In eternal solitude
Illuminate the halo of the ethereal
And for once
Strive to explore the spark of immortality.
Delve deep in meditation
let your stream of consciousness
Strive to explore the spark of immortality
In the magic whistle of Krishna’s flute
And its symphony of the beyond.
