The Earthen Form By Sheikh Moniruzzaman Shawon, Bangladesh

Now
I crave for a new form
A divine metamorphosis
Am I a lifeless, static totem
Or the meditating Lord Shiva
All alone in solitude
And fettered in the eternal darkness
Of human bondage?
Now I wanna amplify myself
Wanna strip the lustrous cloud
Of her heavenly apparel
Wanna drip in rain
Wanna understand
How intense should be
The aquatic embrace
To form the earthen skeletal frame.
I’ll be Nataraj — the frenzied Bacchus
Will be the tender vine
In the creepers of the mind.
Oh! How ethereal will it be —
The imprint of heaven’s
Aqueous embrace
On the celestial nymph!
The barren spore
Will be the fertile farina —
The vibrant effigy
Of the aesthetic transition of
“Let there be light”
To the euphony of creation
A tryst indeed between
Man and his creator —
The humble Me and my God.
Imagine
The symphonic drizzle in a moonlit night
So surreal, so divine
As if emanating from
The infinite canvas of God’s mind;
To whom does it go?
Where does it end?
Doesn’t God and man
Share a divine resemblance?
And is that why
Every man resonates
The whispers of immortality
And is so godlike
In action, apprehension and in form?
