“Autumn’s Quiet Lesson”By Rev. Dr. Jitender Singh

When autumn arrived, the leaves began to descend,
Those once called “ours” slowly drifted to an end.
Bare branches lingered beneath the endless sky,
As fragile dreams with wandering leaves passed by.
Yet nature, in whispers gentle and wise,
Lit tender buds where silence used to rise.
So it is in life along the human way—
New faces appear, while old ones fade away.
Friends who once walked through sorrow and delight,
Now cross our path like strangers in the night.
When brighter colors capture the wandering eye,
Old bonds grow faint, like echoes passing by.
But the tree reveals a truth serene and deep:
Where roots are strong, returning springs will keep.
So do not trust each smile your heart may greet,
For some are only autumn leaves beneath your feet.
