Beneath the Open Sky /Mahfuzur Rahman Sourav

2 .
Roots of Grace
The ancient boughs stretch wide and deep,
Where silent winds of twilight sleep.
A whisper stirs the emerald green,
A sacred bond, felt, though unseen.
We walk the earth, yet sometimes blind,
To what the soil leaves behind—
For in the leaves and morning dew,
We find a heart, so pure, so true.
To love the earth is human grace,
To leave behind a healing trace,
To lift the fallen, tend the scarred,
And hold life’s fragile, beating card.
For branch and bone, of one design,
We weave the thread, we share the vine.
1.
Beneath the Open Sky
Beneath the vast and open sky,
We watch the restless seasons fly.
The river tells an ancient tune,
Of silver stars and fading moon.
No walls can cage the wind that blows,
No hate can dim where mercy grows.
In every hand that builds a home,
Across the earth, wherever we roam,
We see the spark of kindred light,
That turns the darkest day to white.
To tend the soil, to free the soul,
Is how we make each other whole.
