NO MERCY, NO HUMANITY
Biblical pillars of salt
in the whirlwind behind us arise
and over Sodom and Gomorrah
fiery lava erupts.
Philanthropy is in question,
mankind is still in transition.
Billions believe today in Christ
and the approach of the Second Coming.
The men of honor for a moment
fly away peacefully into the clouds
and God’s voice thunders in our souls,
let us resurrect hope with love.
Hot spots, phoenix lights
flash on the horizon.
Conflicts, clashes, wars,
let remain only memories.
MORNING INNER PEACE
The fog lifts us
above the river –
as if we are cloudy with you
and winged.
The cobwebs of darkness
thin out –
sunrise glimmers from afar
and set sail.
Some fisherman ahead
dot-shaped –
throws a fishing line towards us.
It’s dawning.
We meditate in an instant
before the question:
is the horizon a bridge
or a hair.
