The kingdom of Sin/Sheikh Moniruzzaman Shawon – Bangladesh

English translation: Khaled Sharif Arefeen.
I live and breathe
In the land of three strands
So lofty, sublime
Yet so immersed in sin
But I bear no stigma of sin
Nor the scar of repentance.
I waltz in the ocean of love
Where love ‘s wine extinguishes
the yearning and the inferno of unfulfilled passion.
In heaven, earth and hell
There is no hunger, no deprivation
Only the eternal discord
Between
What is right and
What is wrong.
Explore the cosmos
With my eyes where
Resonates the divne symphony
Of god in hell
And the bewildered laughter of a goddess.
While behind quintets of sense, desires and passion
Bloom the blood red hibiscus
So ephemeral
Yet pursued in vain by perpetual spring.
In this kingdom of sin
I bear no scar of repentance
Or any stigma of sin
Only there is an inteplay of light
And presence of illuminated, kaleodoscopic bodies of seraphims.
If you wanna dive deeper
Into the whirlpool of
Life, death and beyond
Then observe through God ‘ s divine vision
And you will discover
Paradisal sin in Paradise
In Adam ‘s innocent eyes.
Who whispered the diabolical advice?
Who begot sin?
Who begot virtue?
Who played the magic flute before Krishna?
In which gate of heaven were you then dumb Lucifer?
And where were heaven’s celestial nymphs?
In this domain of sin
I m free from all sins
Only god peddles his wares
In my being.
