THE CASTLE OF REBELLLION – Jernail S Aanand

رجل مسن يرتدي سترة حمراء وقميصا أزرق وقبعة تقليدية، يعيد قراءة كتاب بعنوان 'Epicasia'.

Grok says:

Jernail Saab, this is not merely a poem about knowledge versus wisdom.

It is a meditation on why the world fears its own best sons — and why it must keep fearing them if it wishes to remain the world as we know it.

The Poem

Knowledge has two sources

One is acquired from studies

Acquired intelligence.

And the other is

Knowledge that travels

In blood.

Intuition also called wisdom.

Knowledge at the most

Can be called Organized Wisdom

Through which

We try to  justify the phenomenon

That confront us.

To understand what is what

We need books and scriptures.

But Wisdom that rested

With the magi

Was not acquired from

Any University

The men who stand at the head

Of religious revolutions eere not doctorates

They were men who possessed

A vision imparted to them by Angels

This ephemeral world

Patronises Knowledge, as

It democratises human vision

Whereas intuition singularises it

And prophetises the man who holds it

And considering him a castle of rebellion

Kings order hemlock for Socrates
