DOUBT / Azemina Dokaza Klobodanovic/Bosnia

امرأة مسنّة ترتدي نظارات تحمل كتاباً بعنوان "ŽEN"، وتقف في مكان داخلي مع ضوء طبيعي.

I know you wander in your mind

That you wonder day and night

Do I love you and only you

Or I’m hiding someone else in my heart.

You torture me and yourself

And days and years fly by you …

Threads of doubt you roll in the ball

One, then another, then a dozen of them.

They roll in your head, collide, unravel

And create chaos

It’s not easy for you, you can’t figure it out

That I love only you.

In vain, dear, you torture yourself

You have a thousand questions in your head

No way to understand the truth right

I loved and I love only you

Discard your doubts about me

Instead of that examine yourself

Do you really love me?!

I often write, looking for the right words

I play with them and tailor the verse

to say with a poem what is on my mind

to throw out everything that is suffocating me…

I didn’t even know until now

how it’s easy to say in a poem

all that I have carried inside me for a long time

and I wanted to tell you that a long time ago

but I couldn’t utter it.

When you write from the heart, with the soul

the words line up like a joke

and even if sadness and pain accompany you

so the tears began to water them

they will meet halfway

and the most beautiful poem to say.

The poems came to me from dreams

which I dreamed of for so long

they found me one May morning

and continued to hang out with me

that night and tomorrow…

today and all the following mornings.

I write and put together various words

I play with them and tailor poems

I send various messages and don’t count

my poems are a reflection of me

they are my soul

I confirmed with them

that I still remained myself!
