LOVE IN THE STONE AGE – دكتورة وفاء خنكار

Four Thousand years ago
Our love was born in a cave
Upon the leaves of a chestnut tree
A primitive child ran around naked
Climbing the trees
Frolicking on the back
,Of the mammoth elephant
Playing
ِAn Ibex horn
Symphony
For he was unable to
,Make but a primitive love shriek
The simplist singing rhyme
Pointing with his crude fingers
I love you
.I love you Wafa
His souvenirs
An anklet
A necklace
.Made of skulls,
seashells and mother of pearls
We carved our love story
,On the cave walls
A bird, a flower and a curve
A heart, an arrow and the sun
Engraved is also our symbolic poem
The heart, a triangle
Union, a square
Longing, a circle
Parting, two parallel lines
Rendezvous, ears of grain
Embraced by black wheat.0
We picked up the fruit.0
From the aromatic plant we made
A pledge of purity.0
Our shadows danced
With the flame of oil candle
On the cave walls,0
On the sky screens
Until the sun woke up
The night naughty couples dozed.0
Extinction eliminated the mammoth
And the Phoenix
But, our primitive love carvings remained
A charming attraction to annalists
Searching for the secrets of a love
That defies destruction
